Niloofar Ghods, Ph.D., PCC

Dr. Niloofar Ghods specializes in executive assessments, executive coaching, leadership development, and top team effectiveness. She has a background in consulting and training as a Clinical and Industrial Organizational Psychologist. Within a trusted partnership, Niloofar helps her clients gain deep insights about themselves and how to make use of their differentiating strengths to achieve measurable business outcomes that lead to promotions, talent retention, and more engaging team cultures.

Niloofar has over 20 years of executive assessment and development experience with high-potential senior executives for nomination, development, and selection purposes. In addition to being an executive coach herself, she has also built and managed executive and leadership coaching practices that have served over 10,000 leaders. She also conducts team coaching and trainings for senior leadership.

Niloofar has worked internally at Cisco and Dell as part of their Global Talent Management Teams. She was also a consultant for YSC, assessing and coaching senior executives of Fortune 100 organizations in the US, London, and South Africa. Prior to the corporate world, Niloofar worked with individuals, couples, children and groups as a clinical therapist. She holds a dual doctoral degree in Industrial-Organizational and Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University, a B.S. in Psychology from the University of California at Irvine and holds the Professional Certified Coach designation from the International Coach Federation. Her frequently cited doctoral dissertation was on virtual coaching effectiveness. She is an active affiliate of The Institute of Coaching at Harvard Medical School and is a member of the American Psychological Association, Society of Consulting Psychology, and Industrial Organizational Psychology. She has lived in London, Iran, Hong Kong, and South Africa and speaks fluent Farsi.
