George Shepeard, Psy.D.

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST, FIU COUNSELING AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES

George Shepeard is a clinical psychologist and works as a senior staff member at the FIU Counseling and Psychological Services Center (CAPS).  He also maintains a private practice in Weston Florida. He maintains an active client caseload of clinical clients and also enjoys outreach and provides workshops on a variety of topics.

He specializes in working with performance issues and am currently the liaison to athletics from CAPS and works with many teams and individual athletes on performance and mental health related issues. He also have an interest in helping individual and groups develop and explore their imaginations and tap into their own personal creativity.   Shepeard is also active in teaching and I hold adjunct positions at FIU in the Departments of Psychology and Education, and the College of Business. He serves as an adjunct professor at the Center for Psychological Studies of Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale Florida.
