Jessica M. Sotomayor is the Program Director for the Center for Leadership at Florida International University (The Center). She joined the Center in September 2017 and provides strategic guidance on new and ongoing initiatives. Jessica manages the development and execution of the Center’s Micro-Credentials for FIU students and the FIU Alvah H. Chapman Jr. Dissertation Award, and serves as the primary liaison to the Center’s Board of Advisors. She also supports recruitment for the Center’s open-enrollment programs and oversees client partnerships for custom programs.
Prior to joining The Center, Jessica was a Senior Program Manager at the Earth Institute at Columbia University in New York, where she managed faculty support, student programs, and research initiatives for the undergraduate Sustainable Development program. She also held various roles at FIU’s College of Business, most recently serving as Program Manager in the Executive and Professional MBA program.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management, both from Florida International University.
