Rizal Bragagnini, business consultant and former Procter & Gamble executive, to outline what he refers to as the “5 E’s of leadership”.
When someone with decades of leadership experience is able to hone down their wisdom in an easy-to-grasp concept, it makes for an interesting lecture. But don’t be fooled by the simplicity of the “5 E’s of Leadership” that expert Rizal Bragagnini has created. Each “E” is jam-packed with information, insight, and practical applications.
Mr. Bragagnini, who has coached and developed top talent in world class companies, rounds out this year’s Leadership Lecture series hosted by the Center for Leadership at Florida International University. He will deliver his “5 E’s of Leadership” on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at 9:30 a.m.
“Envision, Engage, Energize, Enable, Execute!” Mr. Bragagnini’s invigorating message provides a framework for effective, practical leadership. His lecture includes examples of applications of each of these elements, as he takes the audience from realizing the importance of “creating a picture” (Envision) through to “making things happen” (Execute).
“Paying attention to each of these facets of leadership can move a person from just thinking about leadership to being in a position of truly determining their own career and the future of their organization,” Mr. Bragagnini says.
His lecture draws on his 25 years of professional experience leading a wide range of businesses in different sectors and countries, most recently as CEO of Quimica Suiza, a leading pharmaceutical products, specialty chemicals, equipment and machinery company, specializing in industrial, construction, agricultural and veterinary sectors. Mr. Bragagnini also served as General Manager for Cadbury PLC, a British confectionary company, and in several capacities at Procter & Gamble. He also led the implementation of P&G’s Marketing University and the “funnel innovation model” which improved the ROI of new products.
Today, Mr. Bragagnini, a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management’s CEO Management Program, is founder and CEO of his own firm (RBO Consulting).
“At the Center for Leadership, we provide solutions for preparing tomorrow’s leaders, today, and listening to the wisdom of someone as experienced and engaging as Rizal Bragagnini is terrific preparation,” states Dr. Mayra Beers, Director of Strategy for the Center and a Knight Research Fellow.
