Elaine Stein, Psy.D.

FACILITATOR

Elaine Stein, Psy.D. is a clinical psychologist, who provides lectures and seminars worldwide. She combines her psychology training with her creativity and improvisational acting skills for a unique and engaging style. Her primary areas of interest include heart-centered communication, authentic living and leadership, and the integration of trauma and spirituality.

As a staff psychologist, Dr. Stein has developed and led specialized employee and supervisory training programs for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs. These presentations have focused on self-growth as the foundation of leadership, communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, as well as transformation and culture change. 

In addition to her clinical role, she also contributes a significant portion of her time to mentoring psychology interns and post-doctoral residents at the VA and has taught a group therapy course to psychiatry residents at the University of Miami in the role of Voluntary Faculty. Dr. Stein also maintains a private practice and has provided ongoing executive coaching and instruction for the programs at Florida International University's Center for Leadership.
