An accomplished, goal-oriented executive, Paul T. Parker started as the Chief Human Resources Officer of Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd. (RCL) on May 2015. He brings 20 years of experience in addressing strategic, managerial, and operational issues involving business performance and change initiatives. Paul has begun implementing various initiatives aimed at transforming RCL’s HR organization to better support its global business operations.
Prior to joining RCL, Paul recently served as Global VP Human Resources of Sabra Dipping Company, LLC, where he successfully implemented a talent management process across the business; reduced turnover by 50%; increased employee engagement scores by 25%; and developed and implemented the company’s “Share the World” vision.
Paul also held top HR management positions in other leading companies including Deloitte (Chief People Officer); Colgate-Palmolive (VP of HR for North America and Global Business Development, VP Human Resources – Global Growth Group, VP Human Resources – African Middle East Division); Campbell Soup Company (Director, Corporate Human Resources); and the Nabisco Biscuit Company (HR Manager).
Paul attended New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, where he completed his MBA. He graduated with a degree in B.S. Human Resource Management at Ithaca College. Paul is also a professor at Manhattanville College, where he develops and teaches courses in International Human Resource Management and Human Resource Operations.
